International Workshop on LTE Evolution.

The workshop will complement the symposia and technical sessions of the ICC '09 and put a special focus on innovative ideas for the evolution of LTE beyond release 8. Approx. 15 papers will be selected for oral presentation, and about the same number for poster presentation, such that a very high quality can be assured throughout the program. The topics addressed shall cover the complete scope from a theoretical analysis of algorithms and concepts, system-level evaluation, experience with testbed implementations and field trials, as well as aspects related to standardization.

Besides two keynote speeches, a panel discussion will take place where controversial opinions on the roadmap of LTE beyond release 8 will be discussed.
